OUR STORY
Since our formation in 2014, the Network of Women (NOW) has grown into one of the University of Sydney’s largest female-led student societies, with a community of over 5,000 members. We welcome students from a wide range of faculties across the university, including business, law, arts, STEM, health, and social sciences, reflecting the diverse and interdisciplinary nature of our society. We are a USU-affiliated, non-profit student-run society.
OUR 2026 MISSION
As we continue to evolve, NOW remains committed to delivering ambitious, high-quality events that not only support personal and professional growth but also contribute positively to the wider university community. Through exposure to industry leaders, inspirational speakers, and peer-driven learning, NOW empowers women to confidently pursue their goals and leadership aspirations—at university and beyond.
NOW’s continued growth highlights increasing student awareness of the unique value we offer through our events and community engagement initiatives. We will continue to actively bring students together through large-scale networking events, professional development workshops, panel discussions, mentoring opportunities, and collaborative activities that foster connection across disciplines.
