Want the chance to ramp up your extra-curriculars and connect with one of the world’s leading investment banks?
The Network of Women is proud to present the inaugural J.P. Morgan (JPM) Case Competition for students at The University of Sydney, designed to encourage high female participation. The competition will involve analysing and formulating solutions to an issue outlined in the case brief.
Think this is only for business students? Think again!
The case brief will be structured to enable students from ALL DISCIPLINES to participate effectively. JPM is a strong believer that teams with diverse viewpoints foster innovation, creativity and productivity.

If you would like to participate but can’t find a team, register as an individual, attend the Information Session and we can introduce you to others in the same situation.
COMPETITION DETAILS
Teams that are invited to the Campus Heats (preliminary round) will present to a panel of judges comprising academics and JPM representatives. This will offer a terrific opportunity to participate in a team activity that will develop your problem solving, critical thinking and presentation skills.
Top teams that qualify for the final round will present the same case to a panel of senior JPM executives. They will also gain the chance to network with executives and find out about career opportunities with this prestigious global financial services organisation.
If you’ve never done a case competition before or don’t even have the slightest idea what a case competition is – have no fear!
Come along to both the Information Session and the Case Competition Workshop to have all your questions answered and gain some valuable insights into what judges will be looking for.
Instructions will be emailed to teams as the competition progresses, however, key dates are provided below. Please click ‘going’ on the event to be notified of all future announcements about the competition.
